The Redstone Group recently hosted an open house for Arizona school districts at its Chandler, Arizona Test Kitchen facility.
The open house featured training on various products from Redstone’s portfolio of industry leading manufacturers. A professional chef was onsite presenting best practices for equipment in K-12 kitchens and the latest menu trends in school foodservice.
More than 60 Arizona school districts either attended the Open House or requested additional information from Redstone. Those that we able to attend in person had the opportunity to experiment with different food items and participate in live demos on a variety of products. These hands-on training sessions are part of Redstone’s ongoing effort to educate schools, dealers and consultants on equipment uses and efficiency in kitchen operations. Whether preparation, cooking or delivery, no matter if its food safety monitoring systems or allergen products, from hot to cold — these educational and training events provide schools an advantage in menu development and running a smoother, safer kitchen operation.
“We were fortunate to have a great turnout for our Arizona Test Kitchen Schools event,” said Christine Gray, Sales & Marketing Associate for The Redstone Group. “Getting in front of this audience gives us the chance to show them first-hand how the equipment and products can make an impact in their school’s food service. It also gives Redstone associates an opportunity to be extremely effective for our manufacturers.”
