Sometimes the best outcomes come from the most unexpected situations. A couple of weeks ago, Redstone’s John Neeley made a trip up to Prescott, Arizona, for a scheduled Merrychef high-speed oven demo with Leo, owner of The Senator Club.

Just five minutes before John arrived, the bar experienced a full power outage. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting and waiting, it became clear an electrician would be needed before anything could move forward at the venue.

That’s when Leo suggested a bold Plan B.

He had recently purchased a run-down car wash down the road that might have the right electrical setup. They drove over, pulled up the old garage door, and sure enough—the space had the power and outlet needed to run the demo.

With the Merrychef oven plugged in, John prepared two of Leo’s menu items. Despite the unconventional setting, the results spoke for themselves. The speed, consistency, and performance of the unit sealed the deal. Leo purchased the oven on the spot.

This impromptu demo is a perfect reminder that the right solution doesn’t always need the perfect setting. It’s about putting the customer first, staying flexible, and letting the product speak for itself.

Congrats to Leo and The Senator Club on their new Merrychef! We can’t wait to see it in action.

Special thanks to Leo and to Josh Crothers of Source One Supply, who was also on-site for the demo.
